Welcome to Rope Runners - based at The Secret Nuclear Bunker at Kelvedon Hatch. We are the only high ropes adventure park in Essex that is open to the general public all year round! Whether you just want a day out, to get some exercise and fresh air or celebrate a special event we have everything you need for a great time. (We also cater for Corporate clients, Youth Groups and Schools.)
You can normally walk on and join in the fun but if it's a special occasion or you have a longer journey to get to us then we do recommend you book to avoid disappointment. Weekends and school holidays do get very busy and it is essential to book in advance.
Until 30th November we are open every day from 10am. We close at 6pm every night except Tuesdays and Thursdays, when we are open until 8pm and Sunday, when we close at 5pm. We open late on other nights for group bookings by arrangement.

Wet Wednesday
Each hour a different half of the ropes course will be open for wet play – including water pistols and water bombs. Water tag maze and Water Zorbing will also be running on these days.

Fancy Dress Friday
Fancy playing the part of your favourite superhero? Want to do something really wacky? Come along on Fancy Dress Friday and have a giggle with us. Wear any thing you like as long as you can get a sit harness, a chest harness and a helmet on over the top. See if you can work out who's who among our staff - they'll be wearing fancy dress too!

Come and Try it: Multi Activity days
All our activities are open for you to come and have a go between 10am and 6pm. Normal ropes course prices apply. Other activities all priced £7 each and last approx 1 hour.

Essex Outdoor Activities will be operating quad biking on all of our Multi activity days between 12pm and 4pm. To book call them direct on 01245 223216.
Please remember we do not operate a crèche or childcare facilities – an adult must remain on site for all children under 16.
